Meet Pumpkin and Spice…

Pumpkin and Spice recently lost their beloved owner after a long-term illness. For several weeks they remained in their home, waiting for their mum to return. They are now safely with us, and we are fully committed to finding them the perfect new home.

Spice and Pumpkin

Pumpkin and Spice have just turned five and are littermates — a bonded brother-and-sister pair who must stay together. Spice is a beautiful brown tortie and white girl. Pumpkin is a handsome red tabby and white boy

They are gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully sweet-natured cats. Pumpkin is the slightly more confident of the two, but both settled into our safe house within 24 hours with minimal stress.

Sadly, as their previous owner became more frail, she was unable to cope with grooming the cats and their long fur has had to be shaved to remove the matts which were becoming unmanageable and uncomfortable for the cats. However, it will grow again very quickly and with regular grooming will be easy to keep matt free in the future.

We will be honouring their owner’s final wishes: They must remain together — they have never been apart.

Spice

Pumpkin

They need to be safe – they have been indoor-only cats all their lives and are not streetwise. We will therefore only consider homes that are indoor-only or have a fully secure catio or 100% protected garden (ProtectaPet or similar).

Pumpkin and Spice are used to carers visiting their home regularly and are relaxed around people coming and going, so they should be comfortable with extended family and visitors.
