We welcome new registered breeders to the UKRMCS.
Whether you are an established experienced breeder specialising in another breed at present, or new to breeding but are interested in breeding the RagaMuffin, we can offer a great support network with experienced breeders countrywide who are always available for advice when needed.
In the first instance please contact our Chairperson and Breed Advisor Helen Sallows or have an informal chat with any committee member for more information about what is entailed.
Registered Breeders
NB: ALL of our Registered Breeders are breeding from cats whose lines have DNA tested clear of both PKD and the known Ragdoll HCM gene.
Please use the information below to contact our Registered Breeders and visit their websites. This page will indicate which breeders have Kittens, Young Adults or Retired Breeding cats available, with more detailed information available on the Kittens Page.
Please ensure that, when buying a RagaMuffin kitten, that the GCCF Registration papers of both parents are available that will confirm that the kitten being purchased is an Authentic RagaMuffin and will be able to be correctly registered by it’s breeder.
Disclaimer: The UKRMCS cannot guarantee that all breeders adhere fully in all criteria so it is imperative the buyer checks that the breeder is adhering to GCCF rules in the sale of kittens and all kittens vaccinations are as specified and have a veterinary health check before going to new homes. GCCF guidelines and all relevant paperwork must be provided at the time of sale.

I had been breeding Ragdolls as a hobby for over 12 years, when, along with a group of friends, I co-imported the RagaMuffin breed into the UK and co-founded The United Kingdom RagaMuffin Cat Society. It is my passion to preserve this wonderful breed which remains very rare in the UK today.
We are, all being well, expecting kittens in March. Please contact me if you wish to express an interest and I can let you know when kittens have arrived safely.

Gryffinpaws
My journey with Ragamuffins began in 2015 with my first cat, Louis, followed by Remi in 2016, who introduced me to the world of showing and the wider Ragamuffin community. Inspired by the breed and the people involved, I established my prefix, Gryffinpaws, in 2018 and welcomed my first litter of seven kittens in 2019. It was an amazing experience that confirmed my passion for breeding.
Responsible breeding is at the heart of everything I do. For me, it is not simply about producing kittens, but about protecting the future of the breed—prioritising health, temperament, and type in equal measure. Every decision, from selecting breeding cats to raising and placing kittens, is made with careful thought and a deep sense of responsibility.
Under the Gryffinpaws prefix, my aim is to breed Ragamuffins that not only meet the breed standard but also go on to live happy, healthy lives as much-loved companions. I am also committed to supporting new owners, ensuring each kitten is placed in the right home, and promoting the breed in a positive and ethical way.

My journey with RagaMuffins started back in 2015, showing the first RagaMuffins at Championship level in Scotland. I have been out on the show bench since then promoting the breed north of the Border.
My foundation Queen, Esme, was awarded her Olympian Gold Imperial Grand Champion title in 2025.
There have been a few litters born here over the years which have been an absolute joy. All being well, we hope to have a few more litters in the future.

Purrsuasion
Tucked away in the Scottish Highlands, Purrsuasion is our small, family-run cattery dedicated to the beautiful and affectionate RagaMuffin. With only a handful of breeders in the UK, we feel very fortunate to be part of helping preserve and share this special breed.
Our name, Purrsuasion, was inspired by our daughter’s favourite Jane Austen novel — a small nod to the charm and personality that fills our home. Our journey began with our muffin, Filensio Punkin, whose first litter arrived in December.
Our kittens are raised as part of our family, in a home environment where they receive constant care, attention, and socialisation. We are committed to breeding for health, temperament, and true breed type, and we look forward to welcoming future litters and continuing our contribution to this rare and wonderful breed in the UK.
